In Szombathely (HUN), the Belgian teams ensured their first match by easily beating Denmark in three straight set (26:28 22:25 20:25), but Finland had to fight against the Estonian team. Winning the two first sets (25-21, 25-17) the Finish players thought they would easily win the match. But this was not taking into account the fighting spirit of the Estonian team, which took the advantage in the third and the fourth sets (25-21, 25-22). In the last decisive set, Finland finally came back and won (15-9).
