We would like to announce that Ms. Nikolic Jelena joined Takefuji Bamboo, our women’s volleyball team, as an adaptable fighting potential player on October 1, 2007.Ms. Nikolic is from Serbia and she is a great side spiker who excels in spiking and jumping serves, taking advantage of her height. At the 2006 World Championship, she played as a starting line-up player for all the matches, leading Serbia team to the bronze medal. Moreover, she captained at the 2007 Montreux Volley Masters.
With Ms. Nikolic joining us, we expect Takefuji Bamboo to be more powerful on offence and defense. Takefuji Bamboo will keep working together, aiming at the championship of V-League and will also continue to take a proactive stance for making Volleyball more popular. We will try to live up to your expectations. |
